The zombie apocalypse has begun...again! State of Decay is now available for the Xbox 360 at the price of 1600 Microsoft Points ($19.99). A PC version will be released at a later date.

The first offering from Jeff Strain’s Undead Labs serves as an introduction to the world that will also make up the second game currently codenamed Class4. State of Decay is a single player zombie survival game in which players will gather other survivors to form a community, build up defenses, and try to avoid becoming the main course of a zombie buffet.

Class4 on the other hand, is referred to by its developers as a "online world game." Essentially it will be a persistent virtual world zombie survival game that will embody many aspects of an MMOG, expanding the features of State of Decay to encompass an online audience of players.

Update: Community Manager Sanya Weathers has posted a new Launch Day FAQ with some additional details about the game and some of the problems with the launch in some territories that include Germany, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. Most of the issues slowing the game's release are tied to the ratings board for their respective countries save for Germany, which is being looked in to.
