Dean Halls standalone DayZ title cracked 1 million sold in just its first month on Steams early access. In that single month players have created a huge amount of amusing videos ranging from botched banditry to the Gentleman Bandit, touting himself as a better class of criminal. But sometimes robberies just take a strange turn in DayZ. This can at times end up like a Thunderdome death match but without the Thunderdome, and sometimes be made all the more interesting with captors who aren't malicious but rather have manners and a sense of humor and sportsmanship. After all, it's almost a tradition that in DayZ the meeting of new players ends with someone dying.
If youre playing DayZ this week and are on the wrong end of a rifle, just cross your fingers that someone like these guys are the ones robbing you. If so a malicious act of alleviating you of your worldly possessions just might end up being a fun time for all involved, even the victims. And given the name of the video, that's not something that you would expect.
At least he gave the winner a bag of rice.
