Ten Ton Hammer Video of the Day

Abandon ship! Women, children, and game systems first!

All gamers know what it’s like to lose a saved game. You work your butt off to get to a certain point in a difficult game and then BAM! The save corrupts. You lose the save, the progress, your patience, and a fair portion of sanity. But when it comes to saving a game, some people are willing to go that extra special mile.

Last Friday a Kansas man awoke to discover his house was engulfed in fire. He quickly fled his burning home as any sane person would, but moments later he realized what had happened and immediately ran back into the burning house to rescue his trusty Xbox (One or 360 is unknown) from the burning blaze, presumably not while ignoring the pleas of any burning family members or small animals.

Fire officials said the man suffered from a bit of smoke inhalation bu was otherwise unharmed. The Xbox was presumably unharmed. As for the house, it suffered over $80k in damages. But at least he has something to play while he rebuilds.
