Last week, NCsoft announced that it would be deploying a Public Test Server (PTS) for Aion. If you're not familiar with the term, PTS servers are used to help test content before it gets pushed to the live server and in turn can help avoid a giant snafu that results in server downtime to apply hotfixes. The PTS server deployed this week and is now available for willing testers to jump in and help test the newest game content. If you're not sure how to connect to the PTS, NCsoft has put together a handy new FAQ to help you on your way.

The PTS server comes just in time for the launch of Aion's 2.0 patch on Korean servers. Unfortunately, the notes haven't been translated just yet, but they will be posted to the Aion website once available.
