Some free-to-play games tend to get stuck in a limbo of open beta. Allods Online has been there for a while as well, but in an official release earlier today, Gala-Net and gPotato announced that with the upcoming 2.0 update, Allods Online will exit its long open beta and officially launch. This may not seem like a major change if you've already been playing for a while. At least until you dive into some of the changes set to accompany the game's official launch.

For starters, two new high-level zones will be introduced with Kirah and the Isle of Revelation. Additionally the level cap will get jacked up to 47 with new spells and abilities for each class and new regions of the Astral will be unlocked to explore. Oh yeah, and Holy Charms are now completely free forever. Tep’s Curse will no longer be a problem.
