Anub’Arak

• Harden Carapace is crucial to surviving as Anub’Arak since it is his only form of mitigation. The Spell armor and shield it provides can negate most spells but be wary when it is on cooldown as you can be quickly blown up.
• Anub’Arak’s Beetles are a significant part of his kit, absorbing skillshots and dealing minor damage. Try to position so that your Beetles will be in between the enemy with the most threatening skillshots and your team. The Beetles will always attack the closest enemy so spreading them out can be very useful.
• Cocoon is the powerful ability that makes Anub’Arak viable with all of these powerful tanks available such as Garrosh and Diablo. Cocoon should be used on the most threatening enemy hero. This might be the highest damage enemy hero or it might be the tank that keeps their backline alive. This will take that hero out of the fight for up to 8 seconds depending on how well you can defend the Cocoon. Try to force enemies away from it to prolong the duration. Stunning the enemy hero with the fastest way to break the Cocoon (Li-Ming Disintegrate for example) will disable them for a short while, keeping the Cocoon alive and the 5v4 rolling.
