The Statesman is Out to Smite the Wicked

Cryptic Studios has been hard at work developing Issue 9 of CoH/CoV and in an effort to promote the free expansion have crafted a thorough preview of "The Statesman's Strike Force." While the Strike Force is only a portion of the entire upgrade, the screenshots and preview have me itching to don my cape and soar through Liberty City again.

Here we had a chance to have some "mayhem mission" type action, with your team of Heroes causing havoc in the WebFac, destroying vital pieces to the array in Grandville. This was something that players asked for when we introduced Safeguard missions. They wanted to go to the Rogue Isle and bust stuff up. Now they get to bust stuff up, but with a purpose.
