Can MMORPGs be educational? This interesting question was posed, and answered in USAToday.com's Tom Regan. I thought this to be an interesting read, and gives a whole new twist to the idea that learning really can be fun!

Twyman says the idea that understanding the rules of association online can help you understand the rules of association in the real world has more potential than reality at the moment. But as 13- and 14-year-old members of social-networking communities and MMORPGs grow up, we could see that start to change. These young people may relate back to what they learned online.

I'm not sure how I feel about the future leaders of tomorrow being taught how to be a good citizen via MMORPGs, but it's definitely an interesting concept!
