The Aion community has been throwing around a lot of discussion recently regarding the supposed lack of support for the Baltic States of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. It is a big concern when regions get left out of the gaming fold so NCsoft wanted to get the issue cleared up quickly!

NCsoft will be supporting Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania as per this official statement made:

Lately we’ve seen discussion related to the availability of an English Aion client and the possibility to connect and play on European servers. First of all we’d like to thank our community raising it as an issue, we’re very honoured to have such a devoted and enthusiastic community in the region and secondly we have good news to share with you all!

We’re pleased to announce that Aion, the most anticipated MMO of the year, will be fully supported by NCsoft West also in the Baltic States of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The launch will be concurrent with the scheduled release in other supported European countries on the 25th of September, 2009.

Our Account Management system will allow the creation of Aion game accounts from 10th September and we’re working with our distributor to ensure that Aion will be available in local retail stores as soon as possible.

We hope this eases the concerns of gamers across the globe, and regardless of where you hail from, we hope to see you in Aion!
