How would you like to take on a destructive robot carrying enough ammo to level a small city? You're about to get your chance. After a closed beta test lasting more than a year and a half, Avatar Creations is preparing to send its robot-inhabited MMOG, Perpetuum, into open beta. Open beta will begin on October 18th, 2010 and will be open to players around the world. So get ready to head in and make your mark on the world.

All the players in Perpetuum play in the same unsharded world, and the actions of players have permanent consequences which can only be changed by other players or the natural physics of the game world.

If you like what you see, Perpetuum will also offer early subscription access once the open beta has ended. Check out the official press release for all the details.
