If it's that good, I'm going to the comic store right now!

Highly anticipated by lore fans of World of Warcraft, Ashbringer is now available for purchase. This is the second comic series based on the lore of World of Warcraft, and this one is a bit more hard core. It's spans the history of Azeroth from the end of the second war (Warcraft II) to, presumably, the beginning of Wrath of the Lich King. I suspect it will detail the path of the weapon Ashbringer, and the man who wielded it - also of the same name. It's a legendary weapon, and the echoes of it can be seen several places in the game.

The catch to working in the WoW storyline however is that Blizzard has created something dense. You don't screw with this stuff. You could read up on the history of Azeroth for hours and still be missing details. I fully expect Warcraft's history to be as deep as Lord of the Rings in a few years. There is a definite agenda here to create a world with a rich history. The more power to them, I say, but that comes at a price - this comic book gets dragged through the mud at some points because of the story its involved with.

If you love the lore of World of Warcraft, then you'll want to go pick this up.
