En Masse Entertainment has released their final Race and Class series feature for TERA, detailing the high elves race and the berserker and priest classes. The high elves are accomplished mystics and slayers and were the last race to join the Valkyon Federation. Some even believe that the political elves might be running the show before long.
TERA's berserker and priest class are also no slackers. Priests aren't your traditional hang back and heal types, but rather the on the move and working to heal while deal damage and lock down the enemy types. Allowing the second class this week - the berserker, to drill through the enemy defenses and lay down some pain. Read the full reveal below and be sure to check out our interview with TERA's Lead Writer Dave Noonan to learn more about the high elves.

TERA's high elves are politically astute and have a knack for long-term planning.
Featured Race: high elves
When you play a high elf in TERA, you become part of the worlds most ambitious, ruthless societybut its a society that prizes intelligence and drive. TERAs elves are finding their way in a world where racial diversity is a matter of survival, but elven pride is as tenacious as the elves themselves.
Elves are equally accomplished in the sorcerers tower, the mystics temples, and the slayers dueling circles. Though they keep tight rein on expressing their emotions (lest others take advantage of that weakness), they have a pragmatic wisdom thats an asset in troubled times.
The high elves may have been the last nation to join the Valkyon Federation, but with their political acumen and knack for long-term planning, dont be surprised if theyre running the show in a few years.
Featured Classes: berserker and priest
You cant solve every problem with a huge battle-axe, but the problems you cant solve end up fleeing in terror anyway. Thats the worldview of TERAs berserker class, a whirling dervish of destruction on the battlefield.
And while berserkers fly into rages beyond rational thought, you still think tactically as a player. Youll be moving around the battlefield, evading enemy attacks and finding just the perfect spot for that Cyclone attack.
Movement on the battlefield is also key for TERAs priest class. Youre no healbotyoure dealing damage one moment, locking down your enemies the next, then dropping a Circle of Rejuvenation to keep all your friends alive to fight another day.
Best of all, youre pivotal on the battlefieldfriends and enemies alike are orbiting around you. Healing takes skillits more than just pressing the heal buttonTERA rewards that skill with a combat experience that puts you at the center, not on the sidelines.
