The next patch, 8.2, is on its way for World of Warcraft. While you wait, here's even more things that keep most players busy as they await the update. 

Secret Hunting

There are many secrets recently that lead to mounts and pets. If you enjoy the puzzles and secret solving then you can try to solve them yourself or you can look up how to complete it to see the process and collect your reward. The secrets can revolve around many things, such as finding pebbles around the world and clicking them in a certain order to deciphering anagrams in letters to find the location of the next letter. These puzzles can be a lot of fun if you have never tried them before.

Jump On The PTR

The public test realm. The PTR can be found in the version tab on your battle.net application. This allows you to test the upcoming features before they are released to live servers. This can let you see new dungeons, raids and gear. Maybe you will find something very strong before everyone else? Keep in mind that this can spoil some of the content if you would rather experience it when it hits live.

Look At What Classic Will Offer

Some of you might be in the Classic beta, and in that case, you can be free to check the game out yourself. However, many people don’t have access to the beta. In that case, you can take a look at all of the information available all around. Classic WoW is very different from current WoW. 8.2 is not far off, but hopefully these gave you even more options of how to spend your time while you wait for Tides of Vengeance.
