Earning
achievements is something that is either loved or scorned by the World
of Warcraft
community. For those that love them it can become close to
an obsession or be simply a way to spend some down time between other
important events. But for those just entering the world of
achievements, things can be a little scary, especially when faced with
some of the more daunting achievements out there.

To make things just a little
less intimidating
we here at Ten Ton Hammer have put together a list of
the top 10 easiest to get achievements in World of Warcraft and
I’m not just talking the super simple ones that my five year
old could complete (although there very well may be a few of them as
well). And now without further adieu, your list of the top 10 easiest
to obtain achievements:

and a Haircut

Visit
a Barber Shop and get your hair cut.

If you’re
a hardy adventurer like I am, then you probably get a little scruffy
from time to time. So what better way to feel refreshed than getting a
fresh new haircut and hey while your at it why not pick up an
achievement along the way? Sweet deal right? To obtain this achievement
players simply need to seek out a Barber Shop which can be found in the
following locations:

  • Trade
    District, Stormwind City
  • The
    Commons, Ironforge
  • Cleft
    of Shadow, Orgrimmar
  • Trade
    Quarter, Undercity
  • Area
    52, Netherstorm
  • Cosmowrench, Netherstorm
  • style="font-style: italic;">Dalaran

Once there sit down in the
chair, choose your new style, empty your pockets of some coin, and
prepare yourself for a spiffy new haircut. Once completed you will earn
the above achievement with little to no work at all. Also in case you
were wondering...Roger Rabbit will not burst out of the wall regardless
of how many times you tap this tune on the wall.

[PROTIP]The cost of changing
hairstyles depends on the player’s level, low level players
will only pay a few silver while higher level players will pay quite a
few gold for the same cut.[/PROTIP]

Love, Not
Warcraft

Emote
/hug on a dead enemy before they release corpse.

Ever feel a hint of remorse
after smiting your enemies on the field of battle and want to say
sorry? Well show them how you really feel by using the /hug emote on
their cold dead corpses BEFORE they
release from their corpse. To make
this a little simpler binding /hug to a macro ensures that you can get
your /hug off before your foe can flee from your loving grasp. Complete
this action just once and you will gain the above achievement for your
efforts!

All The Squirrels I've
Loved
Before

Show
the critters of Azeroth how much you /love them.

Who doesn’t love
squishy cutsie little critters, especially those found in Azeroth. Gain
an easy achievement by wandering from zone to zone showing your
appreciation to these often forgotten, but important members of the
animal kingdom. To complete this achievement simply seek out each of
the critters listed and use the /love emote on them. This achievement
is especially easy with the addition of more flight points than most
people know what to do with in Cataclysm. Because of the travel
required for this achievement players may find themselves bored. Spice
things up by making a special macro:

/love

/cast [insert spell of choice here]

Using the above macro you can
literally love your target to death and we all know you can't get much
better than that! Check out the list of critters below for an idea of
what you are up against:

Squirrel Borean
Frog Chicken Shore
Crab Ewe Small
Frog Hare Rabbit Sheep Swine Prairie
Dog Steam
Frog Cat Cow Deer Fawn Gazelle Parrot Ram Skunk Toad

Don't forget that if you
enjoyed earning this achievement
there are two other similar
achievements currently available in game: To All The Squirrels Who
Shared My Life and To All the Squirrels
Who Cared for Me.

style="width: 63px; height: 64px;" alt=""
src="http://www.tentonhammer.com/image/view/175911">Going
Down?

Fall
65 yards without dying.

If you are like me and have
fallen off every ledge in the entire
game at least once (who knew one could be clutzy in real life AND in
game) then there is a good chance that you will earn this achievement
without even trying. If you tend to avoid randomly falling off things,
then its time you start! This achievement can be completed by the
player falling from any height of at least 65 yards without getting
squished like a pancake. Some excellent places to complete this
achievement include the Lumbermill in Arathi Basin, the 2nd tier of
Wyrmrest Temple in Dragonblight, or the Scryer’s Tier in
Shattrath. Bring along some a Heavy Frostweave Bandage or an Embersilk
Bandage to use immediately after and you may also gain
the Ultimate
Triage achievement to make this a simple double whammy!

style="width: 62px; height: 65px;" alt=""
src="http://www.tentonhammer.com/image/view/175920">Represent

Equip
a tabard.

Possibly the easiest
achievement in game the player simply cannot fail. All you need to do
is equip a tabard and I mean ANY tabard whether it be guild, PvP, or
faction based. Do this and you will complete this achievement for an
easy 10 points in the achievement bank. A must complete for
every
player.

alt="" src="http://www.tentonhammer.com/image/view/175919">Pest
Control

Slay
the following pests.

This achievement is much like
the To All The Squirrels I’ve Loved Before achievement found
above except instead of loving these critters you get to destroy them
in a single stroke of awesomeness. That’s
right…you will be traveling all over the wide world (of
Warcraft) to take out the pesky critters listed below:

style="width: 600px; text-align: left; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"
border="1" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="2">
style="text-align: center; background-color: rgb(204, 102, 0);">Adder style="text-align: center; background-color: rgb(204, 102, 0);">Squirrel style="text-align: center; background-color: rgb(204, 102, 0);">Crystal
Spider style="text-align: center; background-color: rgb(204, 102, 0);">Devouring
Maggot style="text-align: center; background-color: rgb(204, 102, 0);">Fire
Beetle style="text-align: center; background-color: rgb(204, 102, 0);">Fjord
Rat style="text-align: center; background-color: rgb(204, 102, 0);">Gold
Beetle style="text-align: center; background-color: rgb(204, 102, 0);">Larva style="text-align: center; background-color: rgb(204, 102, 0);">Maggot style="text-align: center; background-color: rgb(204, 102, 0);">Moccasin style="text-align: center; background-color: rgb(204, 102, 0);">Mouse style="text-align: center; background-color: rgb(204, 102, 0);">Rat style="text-align: center; background-color: rgb(204, 102, 0);">Roach style="text-align: center; background-color: rgb(204, 102, 0);">Scorpion style="text-align: center; background-color: rgb(204, 102, 0);">Snake style="text-align: center; background-color: rgb(204, 102, 0);">Spider style="text-align: center; background-color: rgb(204, 102, 0);">Underbelly
Rat style="text-align: center; background-color: rgb(204, 102, 0);">Zul'Drak
Rat

Kill all the pests on the list
to complete this achievement and know that you have
done the world a
favor.

style="width: 58px; height: 65px;" alt=""
src="http://www.tentonhammer.com/image/view/175910">A
Simple Re-Quest

Complete
a daily quest every day
for five consecutive days.

World of Warcraft is full of
daily quests and since you will likely be completing quite a few of
them during your stay in Azeroth why not gain an achievement while your
at it. This achievement requires the player to do one simple thing;
complete the same daily quest for five days in a row. Miss a day and
you must start over, however, the biggest challenge to completing this
achievement will not be the execution, but will come in the form of
some bugs on Blizzard’s part in which the counter for the
achievement randomly resets. Manage to get lucky with this bug and you
will have yet another easy achievement under your belt.

style="width: 60px; height: 61px;" alt=""
src="http://www.tentonhammer.com/image/view/175918">Got
My Mind On My Money

Loot
100 Gold.

…and my money on my
mind…ok so this isn’t a famous rap song (although
you could play it while attempting to complete it), but it is an easy
achievement! A multi-tiered achievement players will first be required
to loot 100 gold from just about anything in game. Mobs, boxes, bags,
you name it and the gold you get from it counts! Sadly any money you
collected before Patch 3.0.2 does not count toward this achievement.
Once you have collected 100 gold the amount of gold to complete each
subsequent achievement will go steadily higher in the amounts of:
1,000, 5,000, 10,000, 25,000, 50,000, and finally 100,000. While it may
take a bit longer to complete each tier this achievement never gets
harder in application the player need only to continue looting gold and
all this achievement will belong to them.

style="width: 63px; height: 63px;" alt=""
src="http://www.tentonhammer.com/image/view/175914">My
Sack is "Gigantique"

Equip
Haris Pilton's "Gigantique" Bag.

Ever wish there was an
achievement where you could just buy an item, equip it, and BAM!
Achievement completed? Well all your dreams will have come true with
this achievement. Simply head on over to socialite Haris Pilton who can
be found in World’s End Tavern in Shattrath City and spend 10
gold on her amazingly awesome “Gigantique” bag.
Equip the 22 slot epic quality bag to complete the achievement with
almost no work involved.

style="width: 63px; height: 64px;" alt=""
src="http://www.tentonhammer.com/image/view/175912">It's
Happy Hour Somewhere

Drink
25 different types of beverages.

For this achievement the player
simply has to travel the world and seek out 25 different drinks. Simply
head to the nearest town and check out the various vendors there,
especially the ones with Innkeeper,
Bartender, and Food and
Drink
displayed above their heads.
Purchase their wears and drink away. If your looking for a more
efficient way to complete this achievement you may want to make your
first visit to a Goblin named Boots who resides just outside Area 51 in
Netherstorm and then to a kindly Mage who is
willing to make you every
type of water in their extensive arsenal. Do this and you will be done
in no time…just be sure there is a potty nearby.

style="width: 68px; height: 62px;" alt=""
src="http://www.tentonhammer.com/image/view/175916">World
Explorer

Explore
Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, Outlands, and Northrend.

Our final simple achievement
will not only give you some extra achievement points but will also
grant you a shiny new title
along the way. To complete this achievement you must explore all the
zones in Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, Outland, Northrend, and the newly
added Cataclysm zones. The hardest part of this achievement will be
exploring the zones and major cities of the opposing faction. However,
if you wait till late at night or early in the morning you will find
that there will be less enemy players readily available to kill you
while you do your exploring. If you can’t manage to explore
during this times, the use of stealth, or just unfaltering
determination will work just as well. Either way, this is a simple
achievement that you shouldn’t miss out on.

achievements that you have personally completed? Feel free to do so in
