Gamespy has posted a new interview with, Josh Drescher, Associate Producer of Mythic Entertainments Warhammer Online Age of Reckoning. In the interview Josh talks about the launch of WAR, and about issues players have raised with the game.

Interestingly, only two discussion points seemed to make the even-tempered Drescher bristle a bit. The first is the perpetual complaint about class balance. According to Drescher, class balance in the game is monitored very closely and, while not perfect, the team is pretty happy with where it is right now. "A lot of class-specific complaints come from the idea that every class should be able to go head-to-head in single combat," Drescher said. "That's not the way we balance classes in the game. All else being equal, when a Witch Hunter fights a Sorceress, the Witch Hunter should win." Apparently when one discounts the variable of player skill, Mythic seems to balance Warhammer's classes based on fighting in groups. "We're always looking at class balance, of course, and we'll certainly be making changes as we move forward."
