Patch 4.3 is shaping up to be one of the most content filled and explosive patches in World of Warcraft and we've got all the details you need.

We get three new five man dungeons, a new raid, a new Darkmoon Faire, Transmogrification, and tons more. One of the coolest parts of this patch is just the graphics (see our Darkmoon Faire Gallery).

If you watch the video below, you’ll see the detail in the upcoming dungeons. Blizzard has done a wonderful job in crafting these new (albeit familiar) destinations for us to explore. You’ll see three of the new dungeons and, in addition, the new Dragon Soul raid in the video. We can’t access these locations yet on the live server, but this should hold everyone over until patch 4.3 releases shortly.

There is a lot of interesting commentary to be made on these upcoming destinations, mostly on the visual aesthetics of the dungeons. The first thing that comes to mind is the fight with Echo of Sylvanas. The voice acting, the design of the fight, and the coordination of her ghouls is top notch, especially against the backdrop. If you’re pondering how the fight goes, check out our End Time Dungeon Guide.

In the Well of Eternity dungeon we’ll have a chance to go into the past and participate in one of the most epic fights in all of Warcraft lore. We get to see Warcraft from the past and return once more to the Sunwell Plateau (in a much different state) to fight the Burning Legion, an enemy who hasn’t been around for two expansions. One of the coolest scenes is the Doomguard invasion rushing in, with the large swath of Doomguards coming from every direction. Be sure to check out our Well of Eternity Dungeon Guide for a bigger preview.

In the Hour of Twilight, a dungeon that happens out in the frozen tundra of Northrend, we fight Archbishop Benedictus who attempts to assassinate Thrall once and for all for the Twilight Cult. There isn’t much shown of the instance, but it seems to have a pretty cool fight with the Twilight Father himself and brings to an end the story of the Twilight Cult (at least for now).

Finally, the Dragon Soul raid itself. We get to see some of the buildup before the final part is the epic confrontation with Deathwing himself. The most interesting thing about this fight is the cloudscape when you’re on the Airship and on Deathwing’s back. It’s interesting to see how fighting the lord of destruction (in WoW) is both horrific and beautiful at the same time. Looking for more info on this raid? Be sure to check out our Dragon Soul Guide that takes you from Morchok to Deathwing.

Overall, the four dungeons coming in the next patch seem incredibly exciting and look absolutely gorgeous. I can’t wait to load up the new raid finder and give Dragon Soul a try while grinding the new heroics. What do you think about the new dungeons? Looking forward to it or bored already?
