The default interface is something many players love to play with. Even our U.I. Repository is a testament to how much players love to customize their interface. Blizzard likes to change things around too and with the upcoming expansion we’ll see a ton of new changes to the way you interact with the game. These changes will typically come in a patch before the new expansion hits so be ready for them!

Reputation Screen

The first change you may notice is that mounts no longer work the way they normally do. Vanity pets and mounts go into the pet tab where Hunter/Warlock pets are at. They’re “learned” and can be easily casted from inside the new pet interface. This means you can carry with you as many mounts as you want without having to worry about bag space. This is probably the biggest change coming in this patch.

Reputation Screen

The reputation window has been changed around a bit. It’s a little bit more organized. Nothing else to write about except reputations are grouped by expansion so that you can easily close the ones you no longer need to look at.

Achievements

Stats

The Achievement Points window has its own major U.I. interface component. There are two parts, Achievements and Stats. The Achievement window is broken into a basic overview listing how many achievements you’ve completed, the latest ones you’ve earned, and the latest stats updated. On the left side is how you navigate between the different achievement categories.

Calendar

Something cool that is in the beta right now is a calendar. It’s like any calendar mod except it’s made by Blizzard. You’ve got the various days of a month and you can set notes, reminders, etc. World events are also automatically listed. You can right click a date and add a note.

Glyphs

The Glyph interface right now has no actual function. It’s just “there”. It’s part of the Inscription profession which isn’t completely implemented right now. So there isn’t much is known about it.

The “Tokens” screen is new and will probably be where your PvP tokens are placed. It’s currently non-functional, but we should see something new with it soon.

That’s the new interface changes in Wrath of the Lich King. Keep a look out! We’ll keep you updated if there are any major changes in the near future.
