On a personal note, I met my wife 20 years ago today. It's staggering that someone could stand to be around me that long, but I guess it proves the old saying, "Every pot has a lid." Don't worry Tom Cruise. Someday you'll find the right girl. She might even be in the closet right next to the pots.

The loyal congregation of Loading... readers has posted and posted and then posted some more in our new forums. Keep it up! Loading... taglines in every post. We will never surrender!

I thought I would take a break from the useful, informative and often timely topics that I've written about lately and revert back to what Loading... is all about, idiocy. As I was flipping between Teen Titans and The Colbert Report my remote froze up for a second leaving some news channel on the screen. As I kicked and futzed and wiggled the batteries around I was forced to watch a story about the Kyoto Accord.

Intrigued initially by what I thought was an advertisement for a new Honda motorcar I watched until it became clear that the show was produced by people who can't afford to own cars at all. Why else would they want me to stop filling up my monstrous SUV purchased only a year ago at the local Canyonaro dealer?

Greenhouse gases this and greenhouse gases that, was all they could talk about. For the love of Pete, get rid of the greenhouses if they are that big a problem. I don't like the look of them anyway. They ruin the view of the road from my 8-foot high monster truck.

Forced to continue watching when the batteries fell out of the remote and under the desk I wondered if perhaps global warming was responsible for areas in World of Warcraft like the aptly named zone, The Barrens. Originally I thought it was named so, because of the lchat in the zone. It was barren of any intelligence, but apparently the name referred to the near desert conditions that plagued the region. Conditions caused by, you got it, global warming. Epic Kodos, their flatulence blowing like geysers into the atmosphere are a problem we can no longer afford to ignore. These sport utility beasts are a menace.

Don't even get me started on the Undead and their methane problems, the Dwarves and their breweries or the Gnomes and their mechanical monstrosities.

Are you as concerned as I am about virtual global warming? Do tell, either in the forum or at the bottom of this blog. If you are shy (or female and sending in naughty pictures) you can E-Mail me.
