The remaining game assets and tech of what’s left of the cannibalized 38 Studios headed to the auction block earlier today. The initial plans were pushed back to December due to interest being "greater than expected from potential bidders.” Earlier today interested parties made their offers, but who will be walking away with what is still unclear. Up for grabs is the incomplete MMORPG codenamed Copernicus, part of the Kingdoms of Amalur universe, and other game IPs from Big Huge Games.

Boston.com reports that the results of the sale will be kept under wraps until the sale is complete. So stay tuned and we’ll update you once we have more information.
