Diablo III Resolves South Korea Approval Issue and Gets Rating

Posted Fri, Jan 13, 2012 by Martuk

Blizzard has been struggling to get approval from the South Korean ratings board for Diablo III due to the game’s real-money auction house “cash out” feature, which the board viewed as similar to gambling. But it looks like Blizzard has finally reached a compromise and Diablo III has received an “18-and-up” rating for the country according to a report from DualShockers.

Blizzard submitted several versions of Diablo III for approval, even going so far as to remove certain auction house features. One of those submissions apparently worked, so now all systems appear to be go for launch. All we need now is a release date.
