Earthrise Slashes Subscription Prices

Posted Wed, Jul 27, 2011 by Martuk

Now is your chance to explore the post-apocalyptic world of Earthrise for a lot less. Masthead Studios has announced that it will be cutting the subscription price of the post-apocalyptic MMORPG starting today. Subscribers that subscribe to the game for six months can do so at the cost of $8.33 (7.66 Euro) per month. With the new subscription prices players can expect to pay in USD $14 (12 Euro) for one month, $30 (25 Euro) for three months and $50 (46 Euro) for a six month sub.

Additionally, starting on August 5th, 2011, the game client cost will be reduced by 60%, allowing players to buy in on the action for just $14 in the US and 12 Euro in Europe. In a recent press release, Earthrise Producer Atanas Atanasov stated:

“We decided to lower the game price based on the feedback, which we received from our players. We determined that a big flow of new customers would greatly improve the in-game economics and would also make Earthrise a lot more fun for both new and old members”

Earthrise launched its first expansion earlier this month adding territorial warfare to the game. We'll just have to wait and see if the move bolsters the population and economy enough to help stimulate the new war efforts.
