Fans of The Elder Scrolls series may have some good news coming their way next month. Tom’s Guide is reporting that an anonymous "industry source" has stated that Bethesda and ZeniMax Online Studios will officially announce Elder Scrolls Online in May. If true, Elder Scrolls Online will be an MMORPG set in the universe of the popular The Elder Scrolls series. According to the source, Elder Scrolls Online will likely take place several hundred years before The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim or during the “Second Era” of the series timeline.

As with all rumors from anonymous sources, we advise taking this with a grain of salt until officially confirmed. Stay tuned and we’ll update you when we learn more.
