EQ2 Summoner Sample AA Specs

Posted Wed, Aug 11, 2010 by Savanja

The EverQuest II Summoners are the ultimate "jack of all trades". Useful in groups and powerhouses as soloers, the Conjuror and the Necromancer are a popular choice because of their ease of play. We want to help you make your Summoner even better! Alternate Advancements customize and optimize your character and these pre-made specs will get you on your way to better playability, damage, and survivability. Take these AA builds as they are, or play with them just a little bit to get exactly what you need. Either way you can start enjoying a better Necromancer or Conjuror experience now.

Conjuror

Summoner Line (100 pts)

  • STR (4, 4, 10, 0, 8)
  • AGI (-)
  • STA (-)
  • WIS (4, 10, 10, 1, 8)
  • INT (6, 10, 10, 1, 8)

Conjuror Line (100 pts)

The focus of your points will be going into Evocations and Conjurations but you'll also want to grab Stoneskin from the Foundation line and Blazing Avatar from the Abjurations. In the Sentinel's Fate row, pick up Runes of Geomancy, Strength of the Elements, Fury of the Elements, and Elemental Blast.

Conjuror Shadows Line (70 pts)

In the General line grab Pet of the Gods, Health, and/or Power (or whatever you can use). In the Mage line pick up Strike of the Mage, Arcane Barrier, and Bewilderment. In the Summoner line put your points into Minion's Critical Strike, Pet Weapon Mastery, and Minion's Mark. In the Conjuror line you'll want Elemental Pact, Blaze of Ro, Chilling Winds, Magic Mastery and Blazing Conjuration.

Necromancer

Summoner Line (100 pts)

  • STR (4, 6, 10, 0, 8)
  • AGI (-)
  • STA (-)
  • WIS (6, 8, 8, 0, 8)
  • INT (4, 10, 10, 1, 8)

Necromancer Line (100 pts)

On the Necromancer tree you'll want to put most of your points into the Gravecalling, Pacts, and Rotting lines also grabbing those end abilities. If you depend heavily on your pets for soloing, be sure to also upgrade Necrotic Reconstruction and Transfer Life. In the Sentinel's Fate row, grab Spirit of the Underworld, Minion's Adeptness, Minion's Soulstealing, Consuming Vitality, and Accelerating Decay.

Necromancer Shadows Line (70 pts)

In the General line you can take what you will use, Health, Power, and Pet of the Gods (if you use a deity pet) are all good options. In the Mage line, Root Mastery and Strike of the Mage are good soloing choices while Masters Strike and Arcane Barrier are more useful when grouping. In the Summoner line pick up Minion's Critical Strike, Pet Weapon Mastery, Dimensional Storage (if you have the extra points to spend) and Minion's Mark. In the Necromancer row put your points into Noxious Cleansing, Archlich's Lifetap, Stench of Blood, and the two end abilities Disease Mastery and Wrath of the Undead Servant.
