bugged.   Sometimes the mobs won't spawn, or the quest won't
update, or other various bugs.  Some quests may be
completable,
but proceed at your own risk.

The Avatar of Vaelion

Let's head on over to the Avatar of Vaelion.  He (they?) can
be found in the second cubby on the right of the Corridor of the Pure.
 You'll again have to take out the two champions guarding the
cubby.  They won't particularly get in the way of this quest,
but chances are you won't be able to get into the cubby without getting
rid of them anyway, so it's kind of a moot point.  Just kill
'em and be done with it, I say.

Once inside the cubby you'll notice something a little different about
Vaelion than the other avatars in the Pantheon.  To begin with
there are three of them.  And no, they're not "bugged."
 They're supposed to look like that:  like giant
bugs.  Vanguard never claimed to be bug-free.



Pick a bug and hail it.  If you don't pick the correct one,
the game will crash and your harddrive will explode.  Police
will arrest your family and your dog will elope with the neighbor's
cat...



Ok, maybe not.  It actually doesn't matter which one you hail,
as they're all going to give you the same speel anyway.  So
pick one, hail it, and get on with it.



Trial of the
Strategist



This quest is kind of complicated, but insanely easy.
 Confused?  Yeah, so am I.  Really, all you
have to do is hail the bug again, and you will be done the quest.
 It's that simple.



However, if you read the dialog; Vaelion will tell you that his test
will emerge at the final trial.  If we succeed, then we will
have unknowingly demonstrated ourselves to Vaelion. At which point, he
says, it becomes irrelevant to test us.  



So I guess I can kind of see his point.  The ultimate goal
here is to finish the pantheon and complete the final fight.
 He can test us now, but what would be the point?  If
 we were to fail his test now, we wouldn't succeed the final
fight.  However if we were to succeed a test now, we'd still
have to face the final fight.  So, regardless, it's all kind
of pointless, when the only thing that's going to matter is how we fare
on that last fight against the sisters.



ANYWAY, why are you still reading this?  You've already hailed
Vaelion and completed the quest.  Move on already.
 Go do the next quest.  Sheesh.
