Help the Runaway

Now that we've found Xackaria, he'll tell us how he became a runaway
slave.  It would seem that he was young and impressionable,
and joined a local cult; as all young impressionable folk do at one
time or another.  He'll explain that they put a belt around
his waist, telling him that it would help him.  Truth of the
matter is, if Xackaria were to leave the area with the girdle locked to
him, it would detonate.  Sure, it would be a good way to lose
some weight, but for obvious reasons: not the best.

So, of course Xackaria will want you to get the key to that girdle and
set him free.  He'll tell you that if you do that small errand
for him, he'll tell you everything he knows.

Sounds like a deal.

What Xackaria fails to mention, though, is that it will be no easy
task. The person that holds the key is none other than Captain Fubared.

hspace="10">Head west from Xackaria.
You'll go through a wall of tall infineum spikes and you'll
see an Infineum Camp with a tent, and a whole bunch of infineum guards.
The tent is the stage for our big fight.

Inside the tent, you'll find a bunch of guards and Captain Fubared in
non-kill-on-sight mode.  First, you'll want to get rid of the
guards to give yourself a bit of space to fight.  The guards
are low to mid twenties, and have a considerable amount of hit points,
so pull with caution.

Once they're cleared you can approach Captain Fubared.  But
before you do anything with him, make sure you have a good group and
are ready for a pretty tough fight.

Hail the captain and tell him that you've come for the girdle key.
He will not be impressed and will begin attacking you.

Fubared is a level 26 5-dot.  He packs a bit of a punch, but
he's not your main concern.  Every 20 percent health, he'll
call for backup.  When he does, two of his cronies will show
up and start attacking your group.  This means you'll require
a good strategy to take him out lest you get too many adds that you
can't handle and end up wiping out your group.

One good way to defeat this encounter is to get a solid tank
on Fubared.  Keep the tank on him at all times.
Whenever Fubared calls his guards, simply stop damaging him.
The tank can keep aggro by doing mild damage and spamming his
or her taunts while the rest of the group deals with the adds.
Often a templar will spawn as one of the guards; which you'll
want to take out first, so that it doesn't heal  Fubared or
the other guard.

Once Fubared has called his guards at 80 percent health, 60 percent, 40
percent and 20 percent, proceed to finish him off.  You can
then burn all your spells and abilities on him to make sure he drops.

Once dead, take a satisfying breath of relief, and loot the key from
his corpse.

Return to Xackaria and tell him that you've managed to retrieve the
key.  He will be extremely greatful.  He'll then
confess that he really doesn't know much apart from the fact that the
mines are run by a cult who are mining the crystals for an unknown
ritual.

Granted, that's not that helpful, but he will then introduce the next
and final step of the quest before you can retrieve your Infineum
Cloak.  So it's not a total waste.  Rejoice! For the
tough part of the quest is now over.
