Forging Infineum"
is the quest that will get us our first weapon in the Coterie Infineum
Sanctuary questline. It yields a rare quality weapon, and is
quite
good for most players that will be doing the quest. The end
result of the entire series of course, ends up with a legendary weapon,
but this weapon is nothing to scoff at.
First things first. The last quest, "Infineum Weapons," has
left
us in disguise in the warforge in the Infineum Plateaus. This
quest, too, can be completed while we're there.

Dudlek will tell you that he doesn't have time to teach you, but he
does have a book that outlines the necessary steps to make your own
infineum weapons.
At this juncture you'll have a choice. If you're talented at
all
in crafting you can make your own. Alternatively, you can
simply
speak with Korgorth, who is also in the forge, and have him make a
weapon for you.
I was able to buy the book and learn the recipes from Dudlek as a level
17 blacksmith. I believe that you can actually learn the recipes much
lower than that as well. So if crafting is your thing, buy
the
book from Dudlek (free) and scribe the recipes. Dudlek also
sells
all the components you'll need to actually forge the weapons, so it's
not a bad way to go; and pretty cheap to boot.
Or, if you prefer, forget about forging your own and turn around and
hail Korgorth who is right behind you in the forge.
The only real objectives to complete this quest are to obtain the book,
and get an infineum weapon, so any way you do it will work.
Korgorth will tell you he, too, can forge the weapon for you.
He'll simply require the components. Again, as luck would
have
it, all the components you'll need are for sale from Head Smith Dudlek.
Korgorth will then give you a list of the weapons he can make
and
what you'll need for him to construct them. It's pretty
straightforward. For example, for a bladed staff, he'll say
that
he needs a long haft. You can then turn to Dudlek, buy a long
haft and a martial infineum blade. Return to
Korgorth and
he'll assemble it for you.
Once you complete the weapon, you'll be able to wield it and get the
next quest in the series from our old friend in the plateaus,
Mineralogist Acadd.
