The Pantheon of the
Ancients is an ideal spot for adventuring groups
between levels 26 and 34. The dungeon presents challenges and
unique content that all adventurers will find both fun and rewarding.
There is a series of quests to be performed for several god
avatars. Once all of these are complete, the adventurer will
then receive a Cloak of the Pantheon - a heroic quality cloak with some
pretty great stats. But wait! There's more!
The Pantheon also holds an array of heroic quality armor and
even legendary weapons. That's right, Jim. Act now
only receive great fun and a great cloak, but now, you too
can own your very own legendary Pantheon weapon at no extra cost!
These are the weapons you may have
seen on the exchange that have a required flag to equip them:
"Blessing of Sacrifice." So! Let's jump
in and figure out how to get these cloaks and weapons.

Proceed with caution! There is an
encampment below, surrounding the Pantheon of the Ancients with plenty
of lizard folk that would like nothing more than to put you on the BBQ.
You can either fight your way up, or simply invis, but either
way, you're going to have to get by them and a couple trolls if you
want to start your adventures in the Pantheon.

corridor of ruins. At the end, you'll notice a large statue

statue-lizard guy? Well, if you've done some of the quests in
the area, you will have learned the password. Simply go up to
the statue and say "Nar'issk." And the entrance is revealed!
What have we done here? It seems we've
managed to find ourselves in a room with some trolls and more of those
lizard guys from the encampment below accompanied by a bunch of trolls.
Good job, Mac. What are we to do now?
Well, Indiana, it's time to do some tomb-raiding! We're going
to need to find a way into the actual pantheon, and those mobs
certainly are not going to take our hand and lead us in with a frollic.
So, I'd suggest trashing them. And I don't mean
the Ten Ton Hammer forums and calling them "newbs" or "sploiters."
I mean actually killing them. Take out the two
lizardmen at the very least. It's up to you if you want to
the trolls too,
but it's not necessary.

the room in which you can find the High Archon Nez'riss for the level
22 quest: "The Final Assault". He's a very rare spawn though,
don't expect him to
show often. Also, sometimes the trolls will spawn as named
trolls which will also count towards the Four Guardians for the "Final
Assault" quest. They also drop some pretty nice loot, so they
are worth killing if you see them. The named trolls are on a
frequent spawn timer than the High Archon.

their corpses while doing "the Macarena" on the throne, or
alternatively, you can stop acting so silly and get on with the dungeon
We're going to need that one ingredient that completes any respectable
dungeon: a hidden switch. The switch can be found behind
the pillar on the right, as shown below. I've taken the
of adding a purplish glow to the switch for your viewing ease.

ready for some action!
Down the newly revealed staircase lies untold riches and
adventure. Women will swoon at the sight of you, men will be
enraged with jealousy, and children will idolize you as a hero.
So grab your adventuring fedora, a nice cool Mountain Dew,
few friends. This is going to be a helluva run!
