The Avatar of Gloriann
Moving on, we'll go over to the first cubby on the left (or east) in
the Corridor of the Pure, and there we'll find the Avatar of Gloriann
in all her glory... ann.

Hail her and accept her quest: "By the Shieldmaiden." It
would seem she's not a big Ghalnn fan. You remember the guy
that sent us over here to slay 100 innocents? Yeah... she
don't like him. She's realistic though, and says she knows he
is unwavering in his evil desire to kill all that are pure and
innocent, so she bestows upon you the task to defend the innocents.
Glad she didn't see us chopping off the heads of all those

So, here we go. We've got one hour to save a bunch
of folk that are going to get the smack laid down on them by dear
Ghalnn and his cronies.
Run over to Tyrashnira's Lair, and head to the first cubby on the left,

we'll see Ghalnn sitting all pretty-like. Outside his cubby
we'll find ten "innocents" begging for their lives. It's a
bit of a heart-warming affair for those playing evil characters, I'm
The goal here is to keep at least five of them alive.
Ghalnn's going to throw a bunch of baddies at them, so we'll
have to keep on our toes.
First, again take care of the Champions outside Ghalnn's cubby.
They'll just get in the way. Once downed, head into
the cubby. Most of the fighting can be done in here and it is
probably the safer way to go about it. If you fight outside,
where the victims are standing, you'll likely at one point or another,
end up with a snake, or Tyrashnira herself. That would be
counter-productive, so don't do it.
Once you're set up go ahead and hail one of the victims.
You'll tell them to follow you, but before they get a chance,
Ghalnn will spawn some baddies.

that I'm not fighting in the cubby, right after I told you: "Fight in
the cubby! OMGZ!" Again, this is a case of don't-do-as-I-do.
I fought out there because I was having some issues with
getting one of the mobs to move. If you run into a similar
situation, and have to fight outside the cubby, do so with extreme
During this round, there will be three waves. The waves that
spawn are pretty much random and you'll be facing some of three
different types of mobs: minions, servitors, and a berserker.
Each wave will vary with which type of mob spawns.
- The minions are four-dot level 29s. They have a few hps and
do decent melee damage. They do stun as well.
- The Servitors are three-dot level 29s. They have much less
hps, but they have a nasty AE spell. When you get a few of
them in a wave, it's not uncommon for them to cause style="text-decoration: underline;">serious
issues for your group. A couple of classes with group heals
and a mezzer or two will certainly be an asset when going up against a
few servitors at once.
- The berserkers will only spawn as one in a wave, usually only
accompanied by one or two other random mobs. They would be
one of the easier ones to kill, but they're the ones that don't seem to
want to follow into the cubby, so you'll have to fight them in the
hall, where snakes may add. They are four-dot level 30s.
After you've completed the three waves, you'll be done the quest.
Head back to Gloriann, receive your mark, and rejoice!
For you have just completed arguably the toughest quest in
