The Blade singer is a elven warrior
who blends combat ability with spell casting, being able to both
deliver punishment with his or her rapier, or blasting opponents with
spells. Using a combination of spells for for damage and melee
ability, and a blend of combat feats, the blade singer is a deadly
opponent in combat and at range. A difficult class to build, much
patience is needed to bring this build to full power.
The blade singer is a very equipment
depenant build in regards to armor. It is important to note: the
below build needs adjustment, based upon player needs, as
described. Because armor bonus and dexterity bonus are based upon
what armor is available, and enhancements are nescessary based upon
what armor is available, it is important to decide when creating a
bladesinger what armor the player anticipates having, and purchases
abilty scores based upon this, furthermore, enhancement selection
should be adjusted from the below build based upon this also.

spell failure chance.
Note that there are additions to the above figured armor class.
For example, a blade singer using +5 Mithril Full Plate, a +5 Mithril
Shield, under the affects of haste and Tenser's Transformation, has a
total armor class of 39 before adding the benefits of combat expertise
or using mobility. But a player who plans on factoring in Mithril
Full Plate and a Mithril Shield best have one on an alternate character
before that, or at least a huge bank roll.
Further
advancement of the blade singer should be concentrated upon
fighter levels. This gives further base attack bonuses, plus the
enhancements and feats that will make a blade singer even more
dangerous. However, this build requires a patient, experienced
player to take the time to get to high levels. This build is
somewhat of an investment upon further levelling.
