Overview

There are two daily zones you can complete in WildStar: Crimson Badlands and Northern Wastes. In this guide, we’ll provide you with a complete Walkthrough of the former in order to quickly complete all the quests.

The purpose of undertaking daily quests is to obtain additional experience to cap your Elder Gems. Doing this then allows you to earn additional money (once you’re Elder Gem capped) and by maximising your Elder Gems, you’ll also be able to purchase some fancy items (such as AMP or Ability Tier points). Lastly, undertaking daily quests provides you with Faction Reputation which you need in order to become Attuned.

The Location

Firstly, you need to travel to Crimson Badlands via the transport ship. You can do this from your Faction's capital city (Spaceport Alpha besides the Taxi in Illium or Space Port Horizon in Thayd). If you’re Dominion, you will arrive at Crimson Command and if you’re Exile, you’ll arrive at Bloodstone Landing. In total there are three quest hubs you’ll navigate to, irrespective of Faction, and you should aim to complete every quest in each of them. In total it’ll take you around 90 minutes but if you group for it, as little as 30. Please note that you can only accept quests from your Factions hubs: attempting to enter an opposing Factions quest hub will result in you being killed by the enemy guards.

The Quests

Regardless of Faction, the vast majority of the daily quests are the same. As a result and especially on a PvP server, you’re forced to quest alongside the opposing Faction (it’s up to you whether you want to kill them!). The only difference is that the first Faction quests you receive will send you to opposite ends of the map: Exile’s head north to the Megatech Station and Dominion head south to the Shield Generator. Only after those have been completed will both Factions meet in the middle to complete the remainder of the daily quests. Are you Exile? Jump to your section now!

Dominion

Crimson Command

  • Supervisor Kera: Scarhide Extermination
  • Rewards: 75,000 Elder Points, 75 Crimson Badlands Reputation, 75 Faction Reputation, 1 Elder Gem (if not capped)

Besides the generators are dozens of enemies known as Scarhide Dreg. Whether melee or ranged opponents, they tend to group in 2’s and 3’s and are dotted all around the Megatech Shield Generator. In addition, there’s also plenty of Scarhide Tanks (walking Robots) that you can kill. The Task simply requests you to kill as many as possible to reach the 100% requirement. Killing a Scarhide Tank provides 5% contribution while killing any of the Scarhide humanoids (in any of their forms) provides 2%.

  • Supervisor Kera: Missing Technologies
  • Rewards: 75,000 Elder Points, 75 Crimson Badlands Reputation, 75 Faction Reputation, 1 Elder Gem (if not capped)

While killing the Scarhide Dreg for the Scarhide Extermination task, you’ll collect loot from the majority of the humanoid Dreg you kill. With the exception of the Scarhide Tanks who do not drop the missing Technology, you’ll find that you can quickly accumulate the 100% needed in order to complete the task. The Missing Technologies can drop from any of the Scarhide humanoids (whether Deadshot, Butcher or Scalper) so be sure to round them up and kill them as quickly as possible.

  • Supervisor Kera: Reclaim The Power
  • Rewards: 82,500 Elder Points; 75 Crimson Badlands Reputation, 75 Faction Reputation, 2 Elder Gems (if not capped)

Immediately south from where you accepted the quest are a series of generators. All you have to do is interact with them and then repeatedly press F until they come back online. There are three in total and if you position yourself right, you don’t have to fight any enemies in the process. Once the generators are activated, you need to move to the main satellite dish (up the wooden ramp) and activate the console.

  • Pallian Cyreus: Scout The Island
  • Rewards: 75,000 Elder Points, 75 Crimson Badlands Reputation, 75 Faction Reputation, 1 Elder Gem (if not capped)

All you have to do to complete this quest is to visit the three Faction quest hubs and speak to the primary quest givers. Kera is immediately in front of you the moment you arrive in Crimson Command while Zami Tell is just a short distance to the East of Crimson Command and Captain Binoxia just to East from Bloodstone Canyon.

  • Unexpected Discovery
  • Rewards: 112,500 Elder Points; 112 Crimson Badlands Reputation, 112 Faction Reputation, 2 Elder Gems (if not capped)

To the east of Crimson Command is Chua tunnelling machine. If you interact with it, you’ll be transported underground and immediately to the right hand side on the floor, you’ll see a DRED Datachron. Simply interact with it to accept the quest to kill Rotter the Undying. Straight ahead of you (unless he has already been killed) is the boned beast. Although the quest states it takes 2 people to kill him, it’s actually super easy to do so solo. Just avoid his telegraphs and you’ll have no trouble in bringing him down.

Bloodstone Canyon

  • Zami Tel:  Slash and Burn
  • Rewards: 75,000 Elder Points, 75 Crimson Badlands Reputation, 75 Faction Reputation, 1 Elder Gem (if not capped)

To the South of Bloodstone Canyon is Venombite Pass. Literring the area are lots of Toxic Hatchling spiders. Each spider you kill provides 7% of your total so you’ll need to kill around 14 in total. In addition, next to many of the spiders are Toxic Eggs. You simply need to interact with these eggs to burn them (around 10 in total). Be aware that for each egg you burn, a spider will come out so be prepared to kill it. Lastly, killing the spider Queen contributes towards your spider-kill total.

  • Zami Tel: Queen For A Day
  • Rewards: 112,500 Elder Points; 112 Crimson Badlands Reputation, 112 Faction Reputation, 2 Elder Gems (if not capped)

Around Venombite Pass is the spider Queen. She’s larger than the others and like all elite enemies, glows read. She’s a little trickier to kill than Rotter the Undying but can still be soloed. The only thing you have to be aware of is that she burrows underground and will re-appear beneath you. If you’re caught in it, she deals massive damage. Just be sure to dodge at the last minute. It should also be noted that killing the Queen provides contribution for Slash and Burn (a sizeable chunk!).

  • Dakari The Rock Biter: Boulders To Pebbles
  • Rewards: 75,000 Elder Points, 75 Crimson Badlands Reputation, 75 Faction Reputation, 1 Elder Gem (if not capped)

I’d recommend you save Boulders To Pebbles until you undertake Supply Drop/BBQ Blast. The Shard’s of Aggregor (walking rock people) are just north of Aggregor’s Gulch. They aren’t difficult to kill but do have a powerful AOE blast. If you can dodge that, they’ll die incredibly quickly. Each Aggregor provides variable amounts of Dusty Chips, but tend to average around 10%.

Temporary Dominion Camp (East of Bloodstone Canyon)

  • Captain Binoxia: Persistent Problems
  • Rewards: 112,500 Elder Points; 112 Crimson Badlands Reputation, 112 Faction Reputation, 2 Elder Gems (if not capped)

One of the most arduous tasks out of all the dailies is Persistent Problems. To complete it you have to burn 3 towers (incredibly easy) but also kill a large amount of Palehusk humanoids. The percentage contribution they provide ranges from 1% to 4% so you’ll need to kill a fair amount. Fortunately, they tend to group up and do die quickly. Where burning the towers is concerned, two are immediately next to the Supply Drop location (see below) and the second is just to the north. All you have to do is climb to the top and interact with the beacon.

  • Captain Binoxia: Burning Waters
  • Rewards: 75,000 Elder Points, 75 Crimson Badlands Reputation, 75 Faction Reputation, 1 Elder Gem (if not capped)

There are two parts to Burning Waters. The first is to disarm the booby trapped corpses along the shoreline, the second is to destroy the Palehusk Skiffs. Where the corpses are concerned, all you need to do is interact with 10 of them. If you don’t and end up stepping on them, you’ll be trapped in a cage which you have to break out of. For the second part, you need to use your targeting lazer on the Skiffs that are just off the coast. Simply select one and press T. You’ll need to destroy 10 Skiffs in total.

  • Gaetus Circus: Supply Drop
  • Rewards: 75,000 Elder Points, 75 Crimson Badlands Reputation, 75 Faction Reputation, 1 Elder Gem (if not capped)

To the west of the temporary Dominion camp is a Flare on the floor. As a hold-out event, you simply need to interact with it and defeat the wave of incoming enemies, while protecting the supplies. It’s super easy and takes only a minute to complete

  • Gaetus Circus: BBQ Blast
  • Rewards: 75,000 Elder Points, 75 Crimson Badlands Reputation, 75 Faction Reputation, 1 Elder Gem (if not capped)

Another super easy quest and immediately next to Supply Drop, all you need to do is interact with the BBQ’s scattered around the Palehusk tents. They’ll explode when interacted with so be sure to step back once you have. You’ll need 5 BBQ’s in total to complete the task.

Exile

Bloodstone Landing

  • Lila Redkill: Scout The Island
  • Rewards: 75,000 Elder Points, 75 Crimson Badlands Reputation, 75 Faction Reputation, 1 Elder Gem (if not capped)

In this task you have to find three individuals: Specialist Mathews, Ludmil Borgos and Stara Galeweave. Specialist Mathews is immediately in front of Lila Redkill and offers additional quests. Ludmil Borgos is just to the south and Stara Galeweave is further south still (just east of Bloodstone Canyon). The additional quests you need to complete for your Exile dailies are available from Ludmil Borgos and Stara Galeweave. I'd recommend you complete this quest when you've done all the others in the starting area.

  • Specialist Mathews: Scarhide Extermination
  • Rewards: 82,500 Elder Points; 75 Crimson Badlands Reputation, 75 Faction Reputation, 2 Elder Gems (if not capped)

Exactly the same as the Dominion task, you simply have to kill the Scarhide humanoids. There's plenty immediately available just West of Specialist Mathews and they deal very little damage. The Task simply requests you to kill as many as possible to reach the 100% requirement. Killing a Scarhide Tank provides 5% contribution while killing any of the Scarhide humanoids (in any of their forms) provides 2%.

  • Specialist Mathews: Equipment Under Siege
  • 75,000 Elder Points, 75 Crimson Badlands Reputation, 75 Faction Reputation, 1 Elder Gem (if not capped)

In this task there are two parts: you first have to Activate 3 broken Exile Cannons. The Cannons are just south of the Megatech Gun Emplacement and can be activated with very little need to fight (though some enemies do spawn on them).

Once they're online you'll need to turn back on yourself and head north where the two control panels are located up two satelite towers. Simply interact with these to turn them on.

  • Specialist Disturbance: Electrical Disturbance
  • Rewards: 75,000 Elder Points, 75 Crimson Badlands Reputation, 75 Faction Reputation, 1 Elder Gem (if not capped)

Probably one of the easiest quests, you simply need to climb up two cliffs and activate the beacons. Once activated you have to return to the very north where the Annihilator Bot is to take part in a hold-out once you've activated the console. The hold-out takes about a minute and is super easy. Once you've completed this task, you should finish Scout The Island to collect your additional quests.

The remainder of all Exile tasks are shared with Dominion. Jump to the Dominion section now to finish the last of your dailies, once you've completed Scout The Island!
