Aion will make use of the flight mechanics quite often as you make your way through the game, but learning all the little tips and tricks to combat and flight can take time to learn as you take to the air only curse yourself as you foolishly come crashing back to the earth in your folly. This week we take an advanced look at Aion's flight and combat mechanics to give you a quick and easy lesson at some of the useful little tricks in Aion.

Gliding works much like you would expect hang gliding to function in real life. Your ability to glide works in coordination with your momentum. The faster you are moving, the better your glide ability will be. However, if you hit a level or uphill patch of land while gliding, you will land. Like flight, you have a limited glide time and a 10 second cooldown. Keep an eye on your flight gauge as if you are high in the sky when it runs out, you may string out a random collection of obscenities as you bring a whole new meaning to the words “high impact”.
