Game Update 25: Fashion Hits Norrath

Game Update 25 is just around the corner, and promises to bring some interesting changes to EverQuest 2.  No, that wasn't a typo, I actually did say Game Update 25.   Apparently there is a terminology change working it's way into the process at SOE, so if you have questions, you should PM Blackguard.  Ok, I'm just kidding, please don't PM Blackguard...a lot. Unlike our last Live Update (I don't know the naming protocol for previous Updates), it appears there will be little in the way of nerfs, so what can we expect to see?

First, it's obvious a runway was built at SOE headquarters, because high-end fashion is hitting the game.  Very manly tailors will now be able to craft a number of outfits with recipes level 20 to 70.  These will overlay the rugged armour models a character is wearing, to something a little more chic and fitting.  It will require the replacement of the chest piece, so this might make it inappropriate for raiding.  This would apply, to those who are uptight about their healer not having an extra 2% mitigation and 3% wisdom.   What will we be worn?  Will we see a lacha or maybe a halter?  Perhaps an A-line culotte in a lovely nile green? Stripes are in this year girlfriend, and...and I'm going to go kill myself now. I'm very excited about the clothing changes, and to be honest I've been stalking EQ Traders seeing if Niami had any more information.  I guess the crafting overhaul KILLED her. *sob*  Poor Niami.  

Not enough changes to be an update for you?  Expect some changes to the broker as well.  Carpenters will now be able to craft item class specific, high capacity, storage boxes for use on the broker.  What does high capacity mean?  From my understanding they will be 60 or 80 slots.  Considering like items stack, that is a crapload of space.   These will not be going in your house, to many peoples disappointment, but it will alleviate some storage issues high volume sellers have.  Of course this means, I'll be seeing 227 lambent imbued chainmail breastplates, but I guess a little competition never hurt.  Well, until they find out you are competing with you, and smack you with a lead pipe.  I didn't mean to undercut your root prices Kiara.

Those are the big changes making their way to a server near you. So do your little turn on the catwalk, head to the nearest broker after the Update, and check out what everyone will be wearing. I'm still pulling for the culotte.
