Kel'Thuzad (Naxxramas)

Introduction

Kel’Thuzad is the last boss within Naxxramas. You’d have to have slain every boss before Kel’Thuzad to even step foot within his chambers. He’s the same Necromancer from the RTS games and is just as formidable. Except this time you don’t have Jaina Proudmoore or any of the other heroes standing beside you. Only those who have plenty of Frost Resistance and gear from within Naxxramas dare even attempt to do battle with Kel’Thuzad.

Skills

Frostbolt: Version A: An interruptible (kick for example) Frostbolt that does massive amounts of damage. Version B: An instant AoE Frostbolt that hits everyone in the room for moderate damage.

Chains of Kel’Thuzad: He’ll Mind Control up to five people who will buff, heal, and attack for him. You should stun then sheep these guys immediately when they are mind controlled.

Mana Detonation: Takes half of a player’s mana and in five seconds explodes dealing that amount of damage to everyone around him. Simply get away from the raid to avoid this.

Shadow Fissure: Same as Void Blast, but will most then likely instantly kill most players.

Frost Blast: Will stun players for five seconds (in an AoE) and deal frost damage (enough to kill someone without healing).

Tactics

Phase One:

You’ll need to slay the adds that come into the room.

Phase Two:

Fight with Kel’Thuzad. Just do battle and watch out for his skills. It’s not that hard really.

Phase Three:

Similar to Nefarian, at about 40% health Kel’Thuzad will summon five adds in the room. Take care of them and move back to Kel’Thuzad.

There is more to the fight, and like the previous difficult battles that is experience. Each try will increase your chances at beating Kel’Thuzad more and more, so just have the patience to deal with him.
