Phorcids are a most curious creature, and quickly becoming a veritable plague. You can find them in and around the Shanty Town in Tyrrhenian Shores. You will almost assuredly be rewarded for destroying these vile creatures.

Spotting them should be no problem. About the size of a small dog, they seem to be a cross between an octopus and a crab, and can be vicious in combat. Be particularly wary of them as they can spit a highly-acidic goo that can burn through clothing and into the flesh beneath.
