Sent one last time to the older
ancestral caves of the Grey Moon clan, Bruku bids you kill the last of
the trolls before they breed and overtake the Grey Moon ogre
tribe. This quest is fairly easy, there are some risks, such as
squishies being beaten by the scorpions, and the cleric can (in a party
that has a hard time doing damage quickly) quickly kill some. But
overall it's not really that hard.
This quest ends with a quest reward from href="http://ddo.tentonhammer.com/index.php?module=ContentExpress&func=display&ceid=532">Elder
Bruku, and leads to the Cult of the Six quest chain. Make
sure to talk to Bruku twice when finished, the first time he will give
you the quest reward, the second time will give you the Cult of the Six
In this quest, you will need lots of healing, a good armor class and
some way of doing fire damage steadily (to bypass the troll's

layout of the caves of here are the same as when you entered to
kill the troll's earlier. The first side caves at the
intersection are empty. Past this intersection is the room with
the ladder and the long ledge. The left side has the black
puddings again (3 of them), the right is empty.
Past the ledge room, you again run into the monarch scorpions (5 of
them) and again the locked room with the chest is present, and the
shrine room. Past this room there is the bridge, with three
trolls in between. These are the first 3 trolls to kill for the
optional objective. The bridge again has the force trap, again it
can be disarmed on the far side, and requires haste to run fast enough
to avoid. Make sure people go at seperate times, or the first
person will activate the trap, the rest behind the first person will be
hit by the triggered trap!
On the far side of the bridge is an open gate, it leads to a hallway
with 4 more black puddings. Around the corner of the black
puddings, there is a bridge, with a
ladder next to it. Climb the ladder. To the right will be
two troll shamans, one of whom may or may not be the (orange) named
troll Shaman Yarsnak. To the left is a hallway with some more
trolls, it has a lever to lower a bridge further ahead.
Continuing down the hall, you pass over the drawbridge, there are 4
hidden monarch scorpions here. Make sure not to advance further
but instead draw the scorpions back.. there are enemies a little
further who can be agged.

down, there is a troll chieftain, deathblood troll, and a troll
shaman. The shaman is on a ledge in this cave. Climb to the
top of this ledge, around the corner is Brother Quessel, a member of
the Cult of the Six (he uses cause critical, searing light, summon
monster 6 for spells). After his defeat, check the floor below
the ledge, behind him. Often there is a named scorpion there,
Make sure after completing this quest to speak to Bruku, twice.
The first time he will say "Grey Moon has it's power back, have a item
from our horde' (basically), the second time, he will say "now that we
know the cult of the six is involved, go free the ogre slaves there,
then speak to chieftain Hragg". This is the beginning of the
second quest chain of Sorrowdusk Island, Cult of the Six. That is
found by passing through the troll tunnels here in the island, starting
with the temple outpost found there. In the future, talk to
