final battle is here; Vilonis is as weak as he will ever be. You must
strike while the iron is hot.

The Tower of Power sends you to destroy the Orb of Command used by
Deathlord Vilonis to control the 4 Orbs of Subjugation you weakened in
the quest Strong is Weak. With the Orb of Command shattered, Vilonis
will no longer be able to trap souls for his army. While you're there,
you can try to defeat Vilonis himself and chop off his sword arm, the
quest objective for Deathlord Vilonis. You should be level 18 by the
time you start these quests. Bring a full group to have a chance to

Agent Nuraga hopes you can battle your way to the Orb of Command and
cut off the source of power for the Gulgrethor forces. She warns you
that you are in for the battle of your life. He wants you to bring him
the heads of the
four harbingers so that he can know Clan Martok is safe. Warchief Zowb
knows that the Gulgrethor can not be defeated truly until Deathlord
Vilonis is dead. To that end, Zowb orders you to bring the tyrant's
sword arm as proof that he is dead.

The Hell Floor

style="font-style: italic;">This
tower is your detination.

Using the maps I made, this is how you get to the Orb of Command.
First, on
#1, go right from the platform with the quest NPCs and go
down into
the "courtyard" when the path curves down. Recall that you'll have to
fight some Gulgrethor Watchers, Shinak agents, and Gulgrethor soldiers
on the way. These are all level 16 3dot. Any Torgazu you encounter will
be level 18 4dot. Clear a path to the entrance of the fortress. Be
aware that you will be facing 3-4 mobs at once the moment you enter.
After clearing the entry chamber, head straight until you are staring
out over the edge of the caldera. Turn right (look out for a roaming
Torgazu) and head to the corner, where a Gulgrethor and a Shinak wizard
wait to greet you.

You have to turn left here. Beware any Coil Seekers that might be
roaming close to this side. They are level 16 3dot. They debuff you,
but they pose no extra threat. Take the immediate right and you'll pass
through a short tunnel out into the yard again. This is the place I
sent you to kill the Raised Okami for the Objects of Unknown Power
quest. When you exit the tunnel, look for a Shinak to your left up
against the ramp that leads to href="">map
#2. The bottom of the ramp in
guarded by a pair of Gulgrethor, and roamers both come down the ramp
and walk the yard in front of the ramp. Be sure to make your move for
the ramp when you will have to face as few mobs as possible. Now it is
time to head up the ramp to href="">map
#2. Be sure to pause at the top of the ramp. A named, href="">Soul
Seeker, roams this area. I killed Soul Seeker 3 times during
adventures in Gulgrethor Fortress. I got a rare each time--the same one
twice--and included the info on the rares in the picture.

You need to head to the rear of the map and take the ramp to map #3,
the Hell Floor. I call it the Hell Floor for a good reason. Someone in
your group will die here. In fact, you may all die--multiple times. The
floor is laid out in a way that you will need to fight a handful of
fights all with multiple mobs. And the respawns are quick enough that
you can't have a whole lot of down time between battles. My map below
shows the location of the mobs:

href=""> alt=""
style="border: 2px solid ; width: 600px;">

Please note that roamers patrol the sides of the columns and several
stealthed Shinak wait to ambush you. In short, if you go down the
middle of the floor, you will get the mobs in the middle, two roamers,
and the stealthed mobs. For that reason, I recommend coming to the href="">top
of the ramp to kill the lead Gulgrethor and the one roamer
(the two
inside roamers are timed so that one is pretty much always at the edge
of the ramp) before turning left or right. Torgazu Berserkers man those
corners, and you'll either end up with an add from the roamer on the
outside if you fight it in the corner or the other roamer form the
inside if you pull it to the ramp. To complicate matters, the Shinak in
the corner will come with the Torgazu. Try not to get knocked off the
platform by the big berserkers.

If you were smart and killed the inside roamer who patrolled the
columns on the side of the floor you picked, your next fight should
only be against two mobs near the second column: a Gulgrethor and
Shinak. Kill quickly so that you can move on before that Torgazu spawns
behind you. At the third column, you'll face the same duo of mobs. Now
you have a choice. You can go to the back corner to fight two mobs
before cutting over to the ramp to fight two more, or you can go
between columns two and three. If you do the former, you face a battle
you might feel is unnecessary (the back corner). If you do the latter,
you run into a lot of problems, though, First, the second Gulgrethor in
the middle will add to the two from the ramp. Next, there is a good
chance you will pick up at least one (if not two) of the stealthed
Shinaks from the columns on the far side. To cap it off, the first
Gulgrethor and roamer you killed are likely about to spawn any second
now. Choose the first option; kill the pair in the back corner.

Try to pull the pair from the ramp into the now empty corner. By the
time you kill them, the first roamer will be back. Time your move and
you can avoid killing him a second time as you sneak onto the ramp and
up to href="">Map
