Patch 3.2.2 is coming soon to World of Warcraft and it's bringing Onyxia back and some changes to many of the classes, including the Mage. David "Xerin" Piner looks over the changes coming to Arcane in patch 3.2.2 for the Mage. Don't be shocked by these changes when they hit. Check our guide to the changes in 3.2.2.
Arcane Blast is getting a mana cost reduction and the ability to have a fourth debuff. This means that youll be able to cast four Arcane Blasts for grand sum of 60% additional damage. The mana debuff removes a lot of the mana problems that Arcane mages have had (although when I was Arcane I never really saw a problem except for lengthy fights) and adds more damage to the DPS focused spec.
