With the introduction of Northrend came new factions and daily quests that can provide the Priest with really great gear. In addition, WotLK also introduced new ways of gaining reputation never seen in WoW before through the use of tabards. Tabards use your tabard slot and allow you to gain faction reputation while running level 80 dungeons. This is a great way to grind out faction rep while going after other great loot. As a general rule of thumb you should always have one of the faction tabards equipped while in a dungeon.

Wyrmrest Accord

alt="" src="http://www.tentonhammer.com/image/view/66500">The Wyrmrest Accord is all about dragons. You obtain the Wyrmrest Accord tabard from Quartermaster Cielstrasza at the top of Wyrmrest Temple. Keep your eyes out for the following items.

Sash of the Wizened Wyrm (Honored)

Arcanum of Blissful Mending (Revered)

Ancestral Sinew Wristguards (Revered)

Sandals of Crimson Fury (Exalted)

The Wyrmrest Accord has a few really nice items for the Priest. It is especially good for the Priest who has just reached 80, and is still gearing up for raids. You will find better gear later on as you raid, but these are better than any piece of quest gear you are likely to have early on. I recommend working on Wyrmrest early on.

Kirin Tor

Kirin Tor is a neutral collection of the most powerful mages of Azeroth. You obtain the Kirin Tor tabard from Archmage Alvareaux at The Violet Citadel in Dalaran. Keep your eyes out for the following items.

Shroud of Dedicated Research (Honored)

Arcanum of Burning Mysteries (Revered)

Robes of Crackling Flame (Exalted)

While the Shroud is only decent, the Arcanum and Robes are really good items. Combine this with the ease of getting the daily quests (they are in a major city) and Kirin Tor should by high on your list of priorities.

The Knights of the Ebon Blade

The Knights of the Ebon Blade are a bunch of renegade Death Knights that have broken free from the Lich King, and have now regrouped to fight against him. You can obtain the Knights of the Ebon Blade tabard from Duchess Mynx at the Shadow Vault in Icecrown. Keep your eye out for the following items.

Dark Soldier Cape (Honored)

Sterile Flesh-Handling Gloves (Revered)

Belt of Dark Mending (Exalted)

The Belt of Dark Mending is a great belt, and one to keep your eye out for. I didn’t make this a priority for me, but that was largely due to the gear I already had. All in all this isn’t bad stuff.

Argent Crusade

The Argent Crusade is the upgraded version from the Argent Dawn. You can obtain the Argent Crusade tabard from Veteran Crusader Aliocha Segard at Argent Vanguard in Icecrown. Keep your eye out for the following items.

Purifying Torch (Revered)

Signet of Hopeful Light (Exalted)

The Signet is a nice pick up, but you have to grind out toexalted to get it, with few rewards before hand. Unless you just have to have that ring, I would wait and do this towards the end.

Summary

This should give you a good idea of which factions you will want to grind out, and what to keep an eye out for. Keep in mind that anytime you run a dungeon, you should have a tabard equipped. Most of the daily quests are pretty easy at level 80, and give nice reputation gains. You should always plan ahead, look at the gear you have now, the gear you want and how long it will take you to get it. With this Blizzard has simply given us another way to get some pretty decent raid gear.
