Guild Wars 2 MMO News, Guides, and Features at Ten Ton Hammer

As the managing editor for the community sites here at Ten Ton Hammer one of my goals is to not only provide an excellent place to learn all about your favorite games through a constant stream of news, features and guides, but also to provide our readers with opportunities to become part of an active community of like-minded gamers.

One such example would be on our Guild Wars 2 site where I put a call out on the forums for readers to submit questions they’d like us to ask the ArenaNet team at gamescom 2010. The community responded with a good number of well thought out, pertinent questions about the game, so I was determined to get as many of them answered as possible while at the event.

At the show, I had the opportunity to speak with Game Designer Eric Flannum who was more than willing to answer as many of our reader’s questions as time would allow during the understandably hectic event schedule. While we weren’t able to address every question submitted, in the following exclusive video interview Eric provides some fresh details on everything from ranger pet mechanics to the ways players will be able to interact in their home instance, and plenty of other things in between.

We’d like to thank ArenaNet’s Eric Flannum and the team from NCsoft for giving us the opportunity to ask a number of questions submitted by our community. And of course a very special thanks goes out to our Guild Wars 2 community members who provided nearly all the questions for the interview.
