Today another subscription title joins the ranks of the free-to-play with Lineage II. NCsoft today announced the launch of the largest content expansion for the game yet with Goddess of Destruction, but the update also brings the new “Truly Free” model, which will allow players to play all of the game’s content at no cost.

The Goddess of Destruction update also adds the new Path to Awakening interactive web guide for players along with in-game advice and level-specific rewards. The new Lineage II store known as the L2 Galleria will also offer packs that can accelerate experience gains.
