Hope you're excited for Final Fantasy XIV, because 3.1 is coming next week and you'll have to go an entire day without playing. From early morning on November 9th until early morning on November 10th, the game service will be down. Official times below:

* The World Transfer Service will be suspended 15 minutes before the maintenance, and will be unavailable until maintenance has ended.

* Reservations for Ceremonies of Eternal Bonding cannot be made from the time maintenance ends until Nov. 13, 2015 1:00 a.m. (PST).

Patch 3.1 continues the long tradition of content heavy patches with game mechanic changes in FFXIV. The expansion launched over the summer, and we're alredy kicking off into the new story content, dungeons, and more. Outside of the usual updates, 3.1 also ushers in something cool, the end of the Rhapsodies of Vana'diel scenario and will obviously kick off more cool content past here. (details here). Outside of that, 3.1 also introduces more flying mounts, trials, golden saucer updates, and so much more.
