One year ago today NCsoft launched its MMORPG, Aion, in North America, sending Daevas flying through the air in search of loot and war. Since today marks the one-year anniversary of the game's launch, NCsoft is celebrating the occasion with the release of new Veteran Rewards. NCsoft's Lance Stites kicked off the day with a letter to the community thanking everyone for their support and teasing about upcoming Aion content.

We’re actively working on the next update and are just as excited for it as we were for Assault on Balaurea. While we can’t share everything because we’re still working on the details, new western specific events, continuing refinement to drop rates and experience, a 64-bit client to make performance better than ever and expanded pet functionality are a few things we know are coming.

Stites goes on to announce the new Veteran Rewards for loyal players. A list of rewards and eligibility can be found here.
