If you've been eagerly waiting for new details about Guild Wars 2 to emerge from ArenaNet, that wait is about over. ArenaNet will be attending gamescom this year in Cologne, Germany and they'll be packing a new Guild Wars 2 demo loaded with new content and reveals for the event. The new event demo will allow play of all seven of the game's professions, the Charr starter area, a mid-level demo with underwater bosses, PvP and character customization.

The gamescom event is scheduled to take place on August 17th-21st, so stay tuned to Ten Ton Hammer and we'll provide you with more coverage from the event as it happens.
