[Update] Steam is still saying it'll release today...

Looking at the Atlas trailer, I have to admit there's lots of it that look pretty dire. In fact, there's plenty of elements in the trailer that look so ropey, I'm actually shocked Grapeshot Games didn't leave the footage on the cutting room floor. Cast your eye over the combat (woeful), boats descending into the water (eep) or even rowing (oh, my). That said, this is Early Access, and there's room for all this stuff to be fixed. My gut tells me however, if Ark is any basis for Atlas going forwards, that the game will forever be riddle with annoying stuff in desperate need of fixing. Either way, I'll be setting sail when it goes live in a few hours and will let you know how I get on.
