Probably the best place for him right now.
Mr. Bill Roper, of Flagship and Blizzard North fame, has joined Cryptic Studios as the Design Director for the upcoming Champions Online. Known most recently for his role as CEO in the collapse of Flagship this summer, it's nice to see him have a home again.
Mr. Roper himself said part of the problem at Flagship was that they had all been too used to having money from when they had been Blizzard North, and that ultimately had led to their downfall. Cryptic does not seem to be hurting for capital these days, so Mr. Roper's talents should be able to shine forth.
