Have you ever wanted to take a trip to the great state of Texas? BioWare is giving you an excuse to finally make the journey. The developer today announced the first ever Guild Summit plans for Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) to be held in Austin, Texas in March.

Guild leaders, or a designated officer if they can’t attend, will participate in a Q&A session with the developers and roundtable discussion about the state of the game. Over several days, attendees will be given the chance to provide feedback, ask their questions to the devs and even get a preview of upcoming game features.

The goal of the summit is to facilitate an open discussion between guild leaders and the game design team. This event will provide an opportunity for attendees to voice their feedback directly to the teams responsible for the design of Star Wars: The Old Republic, hear the team’s thoughts and reasons behind design decisions, and discuss the current direction of the game.

The Guild Summit will be hosted from March 4th through March 6th, 2012 at the DoubleTree Hotel Austin. Due to the limitation of space, the event will be by invitation only. Several guilds of varying backgrounds have already been invited, but there’s still a little room left for guild leaders that would like to attend. Simply follow this link and provide the requested information to add your name to the pile.

Attendees must be at least 21 years of age. Additional details can be found in the official announcement.
