If you were hoping to hear more about Diablo III, StarCraft II, World of Warcraft’s (WoW) upcoming Mists of Pandaria expansion or even get a glimpse at the secretive Titan MMOG project at this year’s BlizzCon event, you’re going to be a bit disappointed. Blizzard announced today that they will not be holding a BlizzCon event this year to allow the team to focus on its already packed development schedule.

We're also heavily focused on getting Diablo III, Mists of Pandaria, and Heart of the Swarm into players’ hands as soon as possible. In light of our jam-packed schedule, we’ve decided to hold the next BlizzCon in 2013.

Blizzard will be holding its eSports competitions in Asia later this year for WoW and StarCraft II, so you can still at least look forward to that. Additional details about the eSports competitions will be revealed at a later date.
