And now, just because zombies need a MOBA too, Deep Silver has announced Dead Island: Epidemic, a new MOBA (or as Deep Silver likes to call it a ZOMBA) based on the Dead Island series. The new free-to-play MOBA is set in the same world as Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide and will pit 3 teams of players against each other in a fight to survive in a battle that will no doubt include flesh-eating zombies at some point.

More details will be revealed at gamescom later this month so stay tuned. In the meantime, you can sign up for the official newsletter on the Dead Island: Epidemic website.

So now have a zombie MOBA. Let’s see if Disney will respond by licensing out Marvel Zombies. You know you’d play it.
