The final beta event for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn starts on Saturday, August 17th, and will be open to all new users until its conclusion on Monday, August 19th on PlayStation 3 and PC. Players that have opted to pre-order the newly revamped MMORPG will gain early access on Saturday, August 24th prior to its official re-launch on August 27th.

As part of the latest Live Letter from the Producer, Naoki Yoshida also discussed restrictions for the final beta test. The Phase 4 beta test will be restricted to level 20 and all characters created during this beta test phase will carry over into the official launch. The Arcanist class will be available for players that want to take it out for a test drive.
