CCP enters quote of the year territory with its current state of the game.

"A good plan, violently executed now, is better than a perfect plan next week." Thus sayeth Executive Producer of EVE Online, Nathan Richardsson. Posting under the CCP Oveur monicker, Nathan goes on a lengthy discussion about the EVElopedia, the tremendous back office computing improvements, secure ETC transfers (and fighting RMTs), CONCORD 30 day pilot licenses, the expansion (Quantum Rise) coming next month and that even more will be revealed at Fan Fest. Nathan hits on the pots of gold at the end of the rainbow as well:

"We'll have our 2 expansions per year, to infinity and beyond. Frankly, having such huge things like Walking in Stations, player housing, new races, planetary interaction, new environments, professions, new tech levels, and improving all the current functionality with an infinite universe in which to design, we‘re having difficulties putting them all in."

The yeti-like Ambulation (often discussed, but not seen in action) is sure to be on the front burner for everyone at Fan Fest, so someone get a dev drunk and get some scoop. I also find it interesting that two expansions per year is the polar opposite of the Blizzard formula of one expansion every two years. Go figure. Read more about the exhaustive list of goodies from Nathan who goes into great detail on almost all of the topic mentioned in Nathan's dev blog, I can resist anything but temptation.
